Work & Travel Australia

Earn money while having the trip of a lifetime! AIDE’s work programs allow you to immerse yourself in a new country and culture without worrying about the costs. Working in a new country will let you experience life and the culture as a true insider while acting as an ambassador for your own nation. The money you earn will make it possible to get out and do more. You can explore on your days off or travel at the end of your placement.

The Association for International Development and Exchange (AIDE) provides international teach, work and volunteer placements. AIDE was launched in August 2007 as the new not for profit sister organization of Alliance Abroad Group (AAG), in order to expand upon the programs historically offered by the AAG Outbound Department. As a not for profit AIDE aims to reach a larger audience, and has more than 15 years of experience in offering programs abroad due to its affiliation with the AAG Outbound Department. Our Goal is to create programs and services for people that will create positive change in their communities in the U.S. and abroad and will enhance their chances to achieve international understanding.

Our Work & Travel Australia program helps you find paid positions anywhere in Australia. We provide you with the sponsorship necessary for the proper visa, along with the support, guidance and flexibility to find just the job you are suited for. Paid positions include: waiting tables, clerical work, telemarketing, sales and service work, production and transport work, seasonal work and call center work. Prior to arrival we will help you prepare your resume and cover letter for the Australian job market. Upon arrival you will have a pre-arranged consultation with a recruitment consultant who will go through your resume, discuss job opportunities, give housing assistance and review positions currently available. This saves you 2-3 weeks of time familiarizing yourself with the local scene and job market.
