Why would you want to undertake a Hospitality Placement? Participating in a Hospitality Placement is a great opportunity to gain practical knowledge in your area of interest and at the same time, experience a different culture. In addition, you will 'discover yourself' and learn what it is like to be independent! You will also have a head-start when returning back to your country, having gained worthwhile international experience, at the same time as having discovered a unique country. Who can participate? Anyone of any nationality who is able to apply for a relevant visas. Your Nationality may determine which is the most appropriate visa for your experience and you may need prior academic training and/or previous experience for specific jobs. You will need to adhere to relevant visa regulations with regards to work conditions. You must be aged at least 18 and normally under 30 years of age. In addition, you must be physically able to perform the required tasks. Of course, you must agree to abide by the programme Terms and Conditions. Finally, you must have an adequate level of English. This is usually an IELTS score of 5 or an ‘upper intermediate’ level of conversational English. Need to test your current level of English? Just click here.
How long is a Hospitality Internship? We suggest that you consider the minimum length of 1 month. The maximum length of the program is 12 months unless you are the holder of a visa that allows you to work for longer.
