How the Australian Hospitality Placement Programme works. Job Offers: You will be offered one (1) job. The offer will match the preferences made in your Application Files. Your job will be guaranteed for three (3) months or 240 hours in total. This means that if your job finishes before 3 months then we will find you another one at no extra charge. If you are coming on the 416 visa then we will guarantee the job for the duration of the visa. The job offer will be communicated to you either by telephone or in writing.
Interviews: A job offer may depend on you agreeing to undertake an interview with the employer prior to commencing employment. This interview may be by telephone, video-conference or in person. If you refuse to undertake an interview with a potential employer, this will be taken as you cancelling from the Programme and the appropriate cancellation fees will apply. If you are unsuccessful at the interview, you will be provided with either one (1) more job offer or two (2) more interviews. If you are unsuccessful at the additional two (2) interviews, we will make every effort possible to arrange further interviews and/or job offers, however we will be unable to guarantee any further outcomes and we will be under no obligations to continue searching for a suitable job for you.
We endeavour to match applicants in the best possible available position. Applicants are however required to be flexible with the exact duties and tasks at the work place as we cannot guarantee that allocated tasks and exact descriptions will remain the same for the duration of the programme.
How will you be paid? In most cases, you will be paid directly by the company in accordance with the relevant award wages for the job. You will need to set up a bank account in Australia and we can assist with this. Pay frequencies will be notified to you before commencement.
How much will you be paid? Wages will depend on the job you are doing. Different jobs attract different wages. Wages will normally vary from A$10-A$20 per hour depending on qualifications, experience and any awards that the employers falls under.
