Ecuador is located in the western part of South America, surrounded by Colombia, Peru and the Pacific. In Ecuador, the Pacific coast, the Andean highlands and the Amazon Basin are all packed in the smallest of the Andean countries. The Galapagos Islands lie just off the coast in the Pacific Ocean. Ecuador is one of the most culturally and environmentally diverse countries in the world. There are two main cultures in the country: the Hispanic and the Indian. Indigenous populations exist especially in the mountain range, where the landscape is very impressive. They have there own language, markets and traditions. Although the national language is Spanish, Quechua and other indigenous languages are spoken widely and form an important part of the country's heritage. The Ecuadorian songs and dances have also been influenced by the two main cultures. Ecuador is definitively an unexplored country, rich in biodiversity, culture and architecture due to its Spanish and Inca heritage, vast indigenous population and broad ethnic diversity. Whatever your interest, may be Ecuador has something to offer you.

Our voluntary work program offers you the opportunity of being integrated into the Ecuadorian community. Our purpose is to promote and encourage excellence in humanitarian volunteering. You will find that by joining this volunteer project you will not only have a great and meaningful experience by helping others through your participation , but you will also gain a whole new perspective of the world.
